To protect decorative concrete (stained concrete) from heat damage and discolouration, it’s advised to use a layer of insulation beneath heated mats such as EPDM foam
Never stack mats when plugged in and in use
Always inspect the cords and the mats before use, and check for any signs of wear or damage to prevent accidents
Clean with a mild dish detergent and a soft scrub brush to remove dirt, salt, or any other debris
Keep mats plugged in to avoid getting moisture in connectors
